We travel to Newbury, situated on the River Kennet and the Kennet and Avon Canal, where you have free time to visit the town that combines 17th century buildings with a contemporary and lively feel.
Then we continue to Welford Park, a private residence and the home of TV's The Great British Bake Off. It opens its grounds each year for visitors to the see the blooms of snowdrops and to a lesser extent, Aconites. You can enjoy a walk around the garden and beech woodland, to see the spectacular display.
