Day 1 We pick you up from home in a taxi, and then we make our way northwards to Yorkshire, having suitable refreshment stops along the way and arriving late afternoon. We have a welcome drink before dinner, which is followed by a relaxing evening with light entertainment.

Day 2 We make for the small market town of Otley, in Wharfedale and enjoy an ‘Emmerdale’ drive taking in some delightful Yorkshire scenery including Washburn Valley and its picturesque reservoir. We have free time for lunch in Harrogate before moving on over the hills to Skipton, dominated by its castle and with lots of interesting back streets to explore. We return to our hotel to get ready for an aperitif, our Gala Dinner and tonight’s extravaganza – the highlight of the weekend – an evening with the legendary Joe Loss Orchestra, now led by Todd Miller. 2019 is the band’s 89th year and it is the longest running entertainment company of its kind. The Big Band and singers will perform hits from the 50s to the 80s.

Day 3 Our drive today takes us to Hebden Bridge in the Calder Valley, where there is time to relax in one of the many tearooms. We then head over Oxenhope Moor to Haworth, with its famous cobbled main street, and home to the Brontë Parsonage Museum. There is time to visit the museum and get some lunch before we join the famous Worth Valley Railway, with tea and biscuits served on the train. We have a return journey to Keighley passing Oakworth, famous for featuring in the 1970’s Railway Children. At Haworth we rejoin our coach and return to our hotel for our evening meal and last night of entertainment.

Day 4 Leaving after breakfast, we travel south and make several comfort stops before reaching the local area late afternoon, to be met by our taxis.
