Day 2 After a leisurely breakfast we have time to explore Cardiff, starting with a visit to Cardiff Castle where we discover over 2000 years of history, from Roman fort to Norman stronghold to Victorian Gothic fairy-tale palace! Most of the castle is accessible with few steps, but some areas will not be suitable for the less mobile. The rest of the day is free in Cardiff to explore the Christmas market with more than 200 wooden chalets set up in the pedestrianised streets of Cardiff city centre.
Day 3 Today we make our way to Swansea where we begin our day with entry to The National Waterfront Museum, telling the story of the industrial & maritime heritage of Wales. In the grounds of the museum you will find the Museum Green which once again will be transformed into a winter wonderland. You then have some free time for your own exploration of Swansea city centre and Christmas market, we return to Cardiff and our hotel.
Day 4 Departing after breakfast, we travel to Lydiard House, with time to explore the ground floor staterooms which have been beautifully restored and enjoy an included light lunch. We continue to the local area and are met by our taxis to take us home.
