Visit the wonderful adult-only Warner’s venue of Littlecote House for a relaxing winter break. Travel on our excursions to Cirencester, Oxford and the Museum of the Great Western Railway, and take part in the many activities available at this lovely resort.
Day 1 After a taxi pick up from your door, we travel up to our hotel near Hungerford arriving mid-afternoon. After dinner there is an evening show.
Day 2 A morning excursion to the pretty Roman town of Cirencester. We return to Littlecote in the afternoon for you to take full advantage of the many activities and facilities at your hotel.
Day 3 Today we travel to Oxford, where you might like to visit one of the many free museums, or indulge in some shopping.
Day 4 A morning visit to Swindon and STEAM, the Museum of the Great Western Railway. The museum is housed in a beautifully restored Grade II listed railway building in the heart of the former Swindon railway works. Located right next to Swindon's Designer Outlet, the Museum tells the story of the men and women who built, operated and travelled on the Great Western Railway. The afternoon is free at our hotel.
Day 5 Departing after breakfast, we make a stop in Winchester, before travelling to meet our taxis, arriving in the local area early evening.
Our four-star hotel near Hungerford is a superb Grade 1 listed 16th Century Tudor mansion in 40 acres of landscaped grounds. Hosting Tudor monarchs, civil war captains and Regency nobles, it was here that Henry VIII courted Jane Seymour. Relax in the Great Hall, Cromwellian Chapel, Library or the Chinese Drawing Room and dine in the Popham Restaurant. There is also WiFi, an indoor swimming pool, bubble pool, sauna, steam room and ﬁtness centre. Our rooms have TV, telephone, ironing facilities, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The hotel has a lift to some rooms. Upgrades are available on request and at extra cost.
