We have been very lucky to secure space at the renowned Tynedale Hotel, on the Victorian Promenade in Llandudno. We visit Snowdonia, Anglesey, travel on one of the famous ‘Little Trains of Wales’, and enjoy entertainment every night at our hotel.
Day 1 After a morning taxi pick up from your home, we travel northwards and into Wales, arriving at our hotel in Llandudno late afternoon where we are greeted with tea and cake.
Day 2 A free day today to enjoy Llandudno, where you might like to take a stroll along the wide promenade, indulge in some shopping or relax at our hotel. Alternatively, join your driver on a half-day excursion onto the Isle of Anglesey and Beaumaris, an historic town with medieval castle, gaol and courthouse.
Day 3 We travel through the Vale of Conwy and into the Snowdonia National Park to reach Blaenau Ffestiniog to board the narrow-gauge railway for a dramatically scenic ride over the mountains to Porthmadog. From here on to the famous Italianate village of Portmeirion, the setting for the TV show ‘The Prisoner’, standing on a rugged clifftop overlooking Cardigan Bay. A pretty route through the National Park brings us back to our hotel.
Day 4 Leaving our hotel after breakfast, we make our way southward via the Cotswolds where we stop for our lunch break. We then continue homewards, reaching our taxis early evening.
Our three-star hotel is centrally located on Llandudno’s iconic Victorian promenade, just 20 metres from the beach and a short walk from the High Street and the pier. Each room in this Victorian building is unique and has TV, telephone, WiFi, hairdryer and hospitality tray. There is a lift to most rooms, and entertainment every evening.
